The Power of We

With the power of we, "the leader's objective is to rally the collective passion of the enterprise toward a better future. Is the collective passion more likely to be rallied when the leader speaks of 'my vision', 'my objectives', 'my company', or when that leader talks about 'our dreams', 'our efforts', 'our company'..."

"A leader's vocabulary tells us what that leader really cares about. Great leaders place the needs of the organization and the people in that organization above their own needs... and the leader's language reveals that... to all that hear." - Jack Hayhow

Discussion:

Compare and contrast the different leaders you've been associated with. Were they about "my vision," or were they a "power of we" leader? Talk about how their language impacted you and the organization as a whole.
